Thanks to everyone who attended the Foundation’s 2017 annual meeting. The energy and passion and commitment of the nearly 800 people in that room – and the thousands more who are working every day to make New Hampshire better – are why we believe in the people of New Hampshire.
The night was a celebration of everyone who shows up and speaks up and gives and does the work that needs doing.
It was a celebration of Ashley Hurteau, who was able to rebuild her life because she got health insurance through the state’s expanded Medicaid program, and the work of New Futures and other organizations that advocated for that program. Of Howard and Joan Brodsky and their “little” brothers, Josh and Luis, and the great work that mentors across New Hampshire are doing to help our kids to thrive. Of Eva Castillo and her colleagues at Welcoming New Hampshire and other partner organizations who are making sure our newest neighbors are able to become full, productive and healthy members of New Hampshire communities. (Read more stories in our 2016 annual report.)
And it was a celebration of work that is done with civility, and compassion, and in a spirit of collaboration to make New Hampshire better for everyone who calls New Hampshire home.
We are proud to support that work, and to work with so many generous people who make it all possible.
You are why we believe in the people of New Hampshire. Today, tomorrow and always.
